My First Swimming Lesson

I had my first swimming lesson tonight! Mommy took me to the YMCA, the exact same Y that she learned to swim at as a kid! I had a lot of fun and met some great new friends. I have a few more weeks in the session...yipppeeeeee!

Building Sandcastles

Daddy and his longtime friend from England helped make me a really cool boat out of sand! Seth and Susan are visiting the US and we joined them in VA Beach. They are really nice but they talk a bit funny. I wanted to show them I am a big boy now, so I decided to forgo my sippy cup and drink straight from the water bottle.

Morning on the balcony...

Good morning Daddy! I was admiring the view this morning, while thinking of YOU of course, and then had to get dressed for breakfast. I like to wake up at 6:30 on vacation...no idea why. Start the day, you know? Here I am for breakfast in my island wear!

Good morning Daddy!!!!

Morning Daddy! I woke up at 6:30! So me and Mommy took a walk to the beach...everyone else was sleeping! I miss you Daddy!!

BEACH!

After an early morning and some town sightseeing, we made it to the beach. I loooooove the water and I love the water even more with my Poppy!

I also had a lot of fun in the really big tub! Mommy had to come in with me because it's just toooo big. It was like another pool!

Feeling back to ME the morning after...

Well, last night was a bit scary. I experienced the Aruba ER! After dinner, dessert, walk on the beach and nighttime bottle I woke mommy up and told her, in my own way, that something was wrong. She calls it blood curling screams. I call it communication. Mommy, Nana, Poppy and Auntie Kristy all tried to figure out what was wrong...it was my tummy sillies! I tried telling you by screaming in agony for 20 minutes. Really, adults. Mommy was really comforting and did the right thing by trying to get me to fill my tummy so I would throw up. And I did! My first time ever! WOW...that felt good. The Mariott staff was awesome and very helpful. We were at the ER a loooooong time, but I slept. After throwing up, my tummy was all fixed. My dinner did not agree with me! The doctors were all wonderful! I got home and slept more...well, like a baby!

This morning I woke up everyone at 6:30! Way more early then my had-been 8am wake-up calls! But the sun just couldn't wait! Here I am eating cheerios...letting daddy know I am alllllll better and back to my happy, adventurous, laughing self!

Dinner and Dancing

We had fun at dinner watching the big, fun fish tanks! And then I danced...a lot! I love music and dancing, just like my mommy! *miss you daddy!

Pool Fun!

I went in the pool today! Parts of it has waterfalls that I really like. And there was a baby pool...but Poppy and Mommy joined me in it so I didn't fall. I looooooove the water! *Miss you Daddy!

My first airplane ride!

I am in Aruba!! I am so excited...Auntie Kristy, me and Mommy met Nana and Poppy in Aruba today! Man am I lucky!! I miss Daddy for then anything and can't wait to see him! I'll keep you updated daddy! Mommy said I was soooooo good on the plane. I didn't cry once and I even fell asleep for the end/landing. I could get used to this flying thing...

GG and GGP

I had a lot of fun with GG and GGP! They are Mommy's grandparents. They will be 85 this month and don't they look awesome?! GGP and I had fun watching fire videos...hmmm...that's what I do with Poppy! I guess you enjoy that when you're a retired fireman! Thanks for all the gifts...I love you GG and GGP!
