3 Months Old! (+ a couple days)

On November 19th I turned 3 months old!! It was a rough couple weeks saying goodbye to Great Grandma Angie, so mommy is just getting around to posting these. Look how big I am! I am getting really smart, too. I laugh all the time, I can pick things up, I love standing on mommy's lap and I take steps when someone holds my hand! I love singing, too. Grandma sings to me and I love it! Mommy sings too, but she has a funny singing voice.

In Memory of My Great Grandma Angie

Today I learned about angels. I learned that they are very special and they watch over you from up above. My Great Grandma Angie was a very special person and she is now an angel who will always be with me.

Great Grandma Angie and my mommy were very close and she was a part of so many special events in her life. She was so happy to meet me in October. She said she loved me sooooo much! I love you too Great Grandma Angie! I know you are now an angel. I know you hug me through the wind and cry with me through the rain. I know you will be with me in my heart as I grow up just like you are in mommy's heart. I like angels very much. But I sure will miss her big embrace. And that white hair.

We love you.

Twins

This is what it would look like if I had a twin. There are TWO of me! Mommy and Auntie Kristy are twins! And Grandpa had a twin sister! I wonder what mommy and daddy would've done if there were two of me?

Grandma and Grandpa

After our visit to NJ, Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. Grandpa makes me laugh... kinda like daddy makes me laugh.

Fire Engine Boots

Nanna and Poppy weren't home when we got to Jersey on Tuesday because they were in Aruba. They came back on Friday and I got to see them! I love my Nanny and Poppy! They said they raced home just to see me! From Aruba they brought me back the coolest gift. Check out my stylin' fire engine boots! These are a favorite. I think daddy wishes he has a pair!

Smile!

Being in NJ didn't allow us any down time! Once people found out I was in town, everyone wanted to see me! Not mommy, just me! So mommy took me to see Auntie Cheryl and she caught me giggling away during my visit to Re/Max in Metuchen.

Stand Up!

Can you believe it has been 12 weeks? I am almost able to stand all by myself.

GG and GGP

This past week, we took a last minute trip to NJ to see Great Grandma Angie (or Great White as I call her...have you seen how white her hair is?), Great Unkie and Great Grandma and Great Grandpa (or GG and GGP). I couldn't go into Great White's hospital room, but mommy took pictures of me with her phone and brought them to her. Apparently I lifted her spirits real high! And at GG and GGP's house, GG got down on all fours to play with me. I thought she was old. She didn't look old doing that!

Lashes

I might have gotten daddy's shaped dark eyes, but I got mommy's long lashes! It's to make the ladies swoon. So they say....

Baby legs!

Adults seem to like baby's legs. Something about being chubby. Hey, I don't eat McDonald's, so I don't know why they think I am chubby. Mommy says my legs are finally filled out and meaty. Nana says she can eat my legs. Oh my. Well, as long as they like them!

Go Miami Dolphins!

Daddy likes the Dolphins. Mommy does too, but because of their colors. I like what they like, because let's face it, I don't really have opinions yet. Daddy's good friends from Miami, Norm and Aimee and their little girl Carolina sent me this outfit! Daddy was soooooooo happy. So I got dressed up and supported the Dolphins with daddy! Thanks Norm, Aimee and Carolina!

COOing!

I am finally discovering my voice. I am starting to talk to Mommy and Daddy. I don't even know what I am saying, but I am having a really great time being vocal.

My FEET!

I made a major discovery today--I found my FEET! Mommy and Daddy put some noisy rattling footwear on my feet that made me notice them today! I was completely fascinated by my feet!

I'm Christened!

No pictures were able to be taken during the ceremony because Reverand Linda wanted everyone to really enjoy and experience the ceremony. Well, it's a good thing, because I couldn't help myself--I cried the whole time. Loudly. Very loudly. What can I say, I was feeling the Lord. But I don't think mommy and daddy looked at it that way. They were happy for the reenactment.

The last picture is of my Godmother and Godfather. Auntie Kristy is my Godmother and I am so happy about that! And daddy's good friend Alan is my Godfather, yeah! I call him Ninong for the Filipino version! I am learning some of my roots. Thanks to them so much for being a special part of my big day!

All dressed up and someplace to go!

Mommy and daddy got me a really nice outfit to wear! It was a sweater set so it was real comfy. I clean up well, don't I?

The Christening

Saturday night we had all of our family over to celebrate my being Christened the next day. So many people I love were there. I really felt blessed! Mommy and daddy let me sit at the table so I felt included. And they even let me cut the cake!

The National Cathedral

This weekend was a very special weekend. We celebrated mommy and daddy being "received" into the Episcopal church, my Christening, Poppy's retirement as Fire Chief and mommy and daddy's 5 year wedding anniversary! (Which I hear there was a 5 year plan and to me, it sounds like they were pretty close!)

The Pastor at our chuch and another church couple were "received". It's just a nice way of welcoming you. Every year they do a ceremony and it is at the National Cathedral. Wow, what a beautiful church! And so big! The Bishop performs the ceremony and he was so nice. The head Bishop was nice, too. He talked to me and blessed my new cross. He was even very suprised after he asked if I slept through the night and mommy and daddy said yes! What a great day!

Happy Halloween!

My first Halloween! I am only 2 1/2 months old, but I think I like Halloween. That is if it means that Nana and Poppy come to visit! They were here for my Christening and I had a lot of fun with them!
