Newark Fire Department

Poppy, mommy and daddy took me to Poppy's old firehouse. Mommy got to turn on the lights, and I also had fun in the driver's seat! During our visit, the fireman got a call and I was able to see them drive off in the fire engine with the lights and sirens on. So coooool!

Taking Steps

A few days ago, I decided to stand up and take a few steps... with the help of some of my toys!

PARTY Picts Part 2

I can't believe all the people that came to my first birthday party. Mommy and Daddy found more pictures. Auntie Mandy and my buddy Wade drove up from Silver Spring, MD. Mommy was happy to see Auntie Jill and Uncle John. Grandma and Grandpa have lots of friends in the area that also came. Auntie Pat brought the whole family. Ninog(Godfather) Alan and Jill came, as well as, daddy's Art College friends Kim and Vince.

Green Thumbs

We inherited a garden from the old owner. Mommy and Daddy do NOT have green thumbs. Obviously, they are flesh colored! How silly. But they are really trying to keep this garden up. This morning we picked tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini and raspberries. YUM!

Early Morning Ride

I was up early so I thought I would take a ride. Since Daddy doesn't commute anymore, we had so much time to play! But they needed coffee if they were going to operate such big toys!

Time to P-A-R-T-Y!

I had the BEST FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY! WOOHOO! I loved my big outside play slide Mommy and Daddy got me! And my sandbox from Auntie Kristy! And my firetruck from Nana and Poppy! I am so lucky! And cake...I am learning to really love cake!

Look who's ONE!!

I'm ONE! I'm learning all kinds of new things! I love to point and play peek-a-boo! I say so many words like "hi", "bubbles", "hat" and my favorite, "yellow"! So many more, too! Mommy loves how I love fruit and vegetables. Cottage cheese and blueberries are probably my favorite meal I am enjoying all this growing! But mommy says not to do it tooooo fast!!

Ocean Breeze, that means water!

Daddy went on the orange slide with me! He was way way to big for it! I got a real splash at the end. Then Malia rode round with me on my donut to make sure I was alright.

Playing peek-a-boo with Grandpa!

Grandpa was sooo funny! He made me chuckle so hard that I wiggled and screamed!!! Plus I discovered a new friend, I just love my new yoga mat!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I am so lucky to have such wonderful cousins that got me such wonderful presents! A firetruck! And clothes, but I liked the firetruck more. Mommy liked the clothes. And my big cousin Malia made me another CD! She was singing songs on it for me. That made me feel sooooo special. Mommy loved them, too! Happy birthday to me!
